Opticon IRU8000 is the cradle for the PHL8000 series, with charging and communication features. Two slots provide charging of both the docked terminal and a spare battery.
The Opticon IRU8000 cradle is equipped with an IrDA interface allowing data transfer when the scanner is inserted in the cradle. External communication is supported by either a RS232 or USB interface. It is possible to daisy chain up to 30 cradles to a single host computer to form a network.
