Opticon Companion Application
This very extensive demo software has a multitude of features such as retrieving data from your Opticon scanners running 'OPN-2001 mode' (i.e. OPN-2500, OPN-6000) or 'OPN-2001 simulation application' (i.e. OPN-2006, PX-20).
- includes CMA/CMT docking station (multicradle) support, or enables to connect multiple OPN's simultaneously to your PC directly.

The PC Companion Application allows Manual or Automatic operation modes.
Mind that, depending on the operation mode, some features are manually inaccessible when in Automatic Operation mode and vice-versa.
Features:
- view device firmware version
- update device firmware
- get date/time values from RTC (Real Time Clock)
- set/send the PC date/time values to RTC (synchronize date and time)
- view device serial number
- download scanned barcode(s) from memory
- formatting options: save data to txt or csv file format; select column delimiter; time in 12hr or 24hr format; date in EU, US or Long format
- delete scanned barcode(s) from memory
- reset the device to factory defaults
- alter the device operational settings (symbologies, beeper, memory handling, LED settings and more)

Note that the USB Drivers need to be installed first. Also verify to use the latest available Firmware and Csp2.dll to maximize available features and stability. |
