The MDI-5010 is a reliable 2D CMOS imager barcode scan engine, built with Opticon’s innovative, industry-leading imaging technology. Despite its extremely compact size, the MDI-5010 comes packed with a multitude of features. That includes a 1280 x 800 pixel CMOS sensor, a very high speed processor and enough high speed memory to decode even the most complex 2D barcodes.

The MDI-5010 is a Fixed Focus module and can be ordered in the following model:

• Medium Range (MR) model - FF @ 165mm

The MDI-4100 series is the best currently available scanning engine.

The MDI-4100 is a Fixed Focus module and can be ordered in the following two models:

• Standard Range (SR) model - FF @ 130mm
• High Density Range (HD) model - FF @ 70mm

It consists of an extremely fast camera that quickly takes a picture of the barcode and decodes it. Its size is astonishing; it is a mere 10mm thickness (MDI-4100) or 6mm for the separated decoder version (MDI-4000). This engine is a must-have for every engineer that is serious about taking scanning to the next level.
