The MDC-200 is a CCD scanner with a flat design and it scans at a rate of 300 scans per second.
Opticon’s CCD scanners scan nearly all existing 1D barcodes. This engine integrates a CCD scanner with a decoder that communicates the scanned results through a 12 pin FFC connector, suitable for both RS-232C and USB. The engine has a maximum current consumption of 120mA, making this a good choice when a battery powers the engine for a long lasting operating time.
The engine has a compact design with dimensions measuring (WxHxD): 22.8 x 7.5 x 15 mm and with 2.6 grams it is also lightweight.
